Portsmouth Community Playground

Based on the dream of a Portsmouth mother with aspirations for an impressive play space where families of all abilities could come together, experience endless play and increase community togetherness, the newly renovated Portsmouth Community Playground was a project built from grassroots fundraising, grants and donations.

Inspired to replicate an old wood playground from years ago, this playground incorporates a wood-look using recycled plastic slats and lots of Peak Roofs.  Endless play experiences include swinging, gliding, spinning, bouncing, crawling, climbing, traversing and a trike track designed into the Poured-in-Place surfacing.  Opportunities are abundant for everyone at every turn.
