Malcolm X Park

Located in the Roxbury section of Boston, the new Malcolm X Playground is a project that highlights an inviting color story and the popularity of using landforms within a play space.  Using colors such as carbon, paprika, sky, tangerine, lagoon and gray, this playground is a beautiful splash of color that is highly visible from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  The landform here incorporates play events such as a Rope Pull, Single Hill Loops and a Rollerslide with dignity exit.  Additionally, the landform allows for ramp accessibility onto the structure at a 6-foot height, allowing all users easy access to the top.
